Tasting notes below
A light and flirtatious opening belies the creamy mouthfeel on the first of this season’s Cult releases. Honeydew melon, pear, lilac, and lavender mix with lemongrass and a flinty minerality on the nose. Delicate aromas quickly give way to sumptuous flavors, as hazelnut, vanilla, asian pear, and crisp green apple take over on the palate. Terry allows the malolactic fermentation to go partially through to maintain the crisp acidity. The calcareous Glenrose Vineyard soils are showcased well in this wine. Enjoy!
