Tasting notes below
This year’s Grenache is darker and earthier than last year’s, yet still true to vineyard and varietal. The fruit is bright and fresh: red and black cherry along with pops of ripe red plum, as darker tones of black pepper, leather, and anise follow. On the palate, earth notes prevail: cherry wood, peat, and tobacco meet a spice box blend of anise, nutmeg, and vanilla. Lively acid lends itself well to a long, vibrant finish.
